Latest Tournament Results

Watauga- We held our annual combo Walleye\ Bass tournament for the year this past Friday on Watauga Lake. Turnout was great with 18 boats competing in what turned out to be a Stormy night. The lake level was up and water was clear, and the storm front coming though didn’t help the fishing conditions. Congratulations to our top anglers, Brian Moody & Kris Kilgore who totaled 15.78 pounds of walleye.

 Boone-We held our sixth tournament for the year this past Friday on Boone Lake. Turnout was low with only 12 boats competing in what turned out to be a beautiful night. The lake level was up and water was clear and partly cloudy skies. Congratulations to our top anglers, Chris Addington & Paul Cox with 17.79 pounds. Finishing a close second was the team of Dave and Keith Moody with 16.92 pounds.  Rounding out the top three boats were Harold Dye and Vince Salyers with 5 fish weighing 11.42.

Douglas- We held our seventh tournament of the year this past Friday night on Douglas Lake.  Turnout was good with 16 boats competing in what turned out to be a beautiful night after a storm day. Fishing was good with most boats bringing a limit to the scales.  Congratulations to Joey Franklin and Ed Ragsdale for an outstanding catch of 22.50 pounds for the tournament. Joey Franklin also won big fish with a 7.14 large mouth, way to go Joey!
